catch me if you can remixcatch me if you can 1A rarity to start March here at AllBum.Art - a remix of the cover of a Blu-Ray and not a song. Catch Me If You Can is the 2002 film in which Tom Hanks chases around the country after Leonardo Di Caprio (a.k.a. Frank Abagnale). On the original cover we see the two aforementioned gentlemen standing back to back. On the remix we see a babe who is much harder to catch, as she is running quickly away from us in her sneakers. But not much else. No wonder she doesn't want to be caught... Slippy!

Frosty The Snowman -

frosty the snowman 2 remixThere are many, many versions of Frosty The Snowman by a myriad of artists including Gene Autry, Perry Como, The Ronettes and Johnny Mathis. But as so many of these versions were after-thoughts, or cynical attempts to sell records at Christmas, and not released as singles in their own right, many don't have original cover artwork. This remix is not therefore a remix because there is no original work to compare. Instead, it is just a random cover that could be used for any version of Frosty The Snowman. In this version of the cover we see a very naughty Frosty who has obviously taken the notion of
we'll have some fun now, before I melt away

very literally indeed. Who would have thought that snowmen were capable of that kind of fun, eh? Chilling!

saturday night fever remixsaturday night fever 1Not strictly a remix of the cover of a song, but there is an album of the movie soundtrack for which this cover fits perfectly! We just couldn't bare to see Mr Travolta jiving away on the dance-floor with a woman who seems unable to fulfill even the basic feverish requirements. So we have given him a most suitable dance partner, a bare lady who seems more than able to strut her stuff just as well as Mr Travolta does, just without the unnecessary accompanying clothing.

O Tannenbaum - Various Artists

o tannenbaum remixo tannenbaum 1The song O Tannenbaum is the German name for O Christmas Tree and has been sung by so many artists that instead of picking on one particular one, we have just remixed a generic cover taken from an ancient album on the Decca record label. Instead of the winter scene on the Rhine, you can see instead a naked Christmas tree - naked that is except for a single bauble. Any offers to help decorate it?
